In her second year of physical therapy school, Anh organized an injury prevention program for young runners at a charter school in Harlem, NYC.

Anh’s goal is to promote love for the sport and lifelong health and fitness by giving athletes the tools to help prevent injury.

Through this experience, she learned to lead a large group of adolescent athletes. It enabled her to exhibit her creativity as a physical therapist and track and field coach.

Anh created a fun, safe, and competitive environment for the athletes while accomplishing strength and agility goals through creative running drills, obstacle courses, and games.

While most athletes at this age may have never experienced an overuse injury from running, Anh was able to help them minimize the of risk future injuries by teaching them simple running form drills.

Anh, who was frequently injured as a young athlete, values giving back to the running community by helping the younger generation prevent injury.
